Upon request, we can modify one of our regular Base Camp Kayaking packages and work together with other local operators to facilitate and present a truly mixed bag of activities out of our Wilderness Retreat. We offer an incredible platform and depth of expertise to facilitate and meet your Vancouver Island adventure travel desires. Ideas and options might include:
Guided kayak touring- Birding on remote islets
- Boat-based wildlife viewing (sea otters, sea lions, and more!)
- Guided First Nations cultural tours & activities
- Guided sportfishing (by motor boat or kayak)
- Surf kayaking, boogie boarding, body surfing, or surfing
- Boat access to expansive remote beaches and coastal hiking
- Hiking to scenic higher elevation viewpoints
Some of these aren't regular Kyuquot or West Coast Expedition activities, so pricing will reflect the added logistics and expense, of, for example having surf boards available if you're not bringing your own. But maybe you already travel everywhere with your own surf board and just need us for the local logistics and base?!
